i would take off the other ss emblem though..looks a little redundant & odd having both styles...otherwise it looks great

I ordered just the front insert, but I need to find out what size SS letters I can fit onto it. Anyone know the measurements of the front insert?

I ordered this and was very disappointed when I opened the box. The SS letters are thin, flat plastic with white vinyl stuck on them (not even centered). The edges are not raised and they do not feel or look like normal automotive badges. The fitment of the grill inlay is not good at all and the gaps can be seen like in the photos above. This would only look good if you were standing about 50 feet away from the car; any closer and it looks like crap. This seems like about $5 worth of product, but they are charging $80 with shipping. I really want this retro SS look for my Camaro, but I will return this product and order the heritage grille (when available), and then try to find a gen1 badge to attach.

lol well as for removing the little SS logo in the corner. i am going to do that as soon as i figure it out. I just finished the rear and it has the little SS logo in the right still. I will remove that as soon as i get a chance. My main goal was getting the new ones on first.

as for the quality of the injection molding. its not bad. Not the best but you have to play with it and adjust it so its perfect. The rear is easier to do.

the front SS logo can be ordered through SLP. you get front and rear.

It comes off kind of the same way the front bowtie comes off. it has a tapered clip at the end that pops in. Its held on by the back of the grill.
