Ah. IMO I don't see what's the big fuss about the rear end. I must be one of the few that see the haunches back on the '10+ restyle as an IMPROVEMENT.

Prior to the restyle it looked like a tube. No real definition on the sides and a loss of the coke-bottle physique from the '99-04. Camaro still wins in the overall body proportion styling department. Can't get enough of dat ass.

Rumor was Matt Lauer threatened his film crew not to show his bald spot. The back end of the Mustang is it's bald spot. Looks a little better with the spoiler.

Like the Camaro?

Butt end of the maro looks naked without the lip spoiler.. Somehow the Mustang looks alright. Still need to see FMC toss a Coyote GT around the track before I start pulling punches on the SS.

I am waiting, I want the coyote to come out in 11 so it will have a year to shake out the bugs so I can buy a 12.

I may consider one if they can get me a better deal than what I've been quoted on a 1SS. Also want to see what the new 6spd is made of too.

That's all dependent on whether or not they jack the price on the GT to reflect the new engine, making the price diff. moot.

i would still get a camaro of course just because gm is in my blood. but if some one put a gun to my head and told me i had to get the mustang v6 then i wouldnt mind owning it at all. looks like a really good solid pony car.

The LS1 GTO was a high 13-low 14 second car, it was not until the LS2 that the GTO Competed with the GT.

It made Wards Top 10 Best Engines List 3 times and the Rotrex supercharged Ford Modular 4-valve DOHC 4.7 V8, which produced 806 hp (601 kW), to achieve a top speed of 241 mph. This certified top speed was recorded on February 28, 2005 in Nardo, Italy and broke the McLaren F1's world record for fastest production car. The accomplishment was recognized by Guinness World Records in 2005. Only to be broken several months later by the Bugatti Veyron.

I had an 06 mustang with the same upgrades minus the x pipe. I can tell you that the camaro is a faster car. I can also tell you that I could run a faster time in that mustang, because it was SO easy to launch. Im still having a lot of trouble launching my camaro. So basically if you can launch it, you will win.

not only that. check how many times the modulars as a whole have made Wards Top 10 Engines vs. all the LSx motors. It's not even close.
