Check engine light: error code. Help please

I'm getting the "check engine light" turning on, and the error code is :
"p1133" bank 1 fuel control shifted lean (faosc) (see p2096).
I'm also getting a 2nd one, that's the exact same error, except it's "p1153" and it's for bank 2 fuel. Any thoughts on what the problem is? Could it be the headers? Is it the o2 sensors? Thanks for any advice

What headers do you have? I am having the same problem. Hopefully somebody can help. I`ve checked wires, nothing burnt, no exhaust leaks but for good measure retorqued everything and i still get these 2 codes. If we both have I`m sure others have as well.

dynatech headers with the cats. I get this error if its really cold out and if I go really slow. I get the error about 5-10 minutes after i start the car from cold. If I drive moderately after I start, I wont get the error. I have gotten these errors about 3 times over the last 3 weeks

did you tune the ecm after the header install, if not you will need a tune to correct the issue

also your code description is wrong,, these are the actual gm descrition for those codes:

DTC P1133: HO2S Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 1

DTC P1153: HO2S Insufficient Switching Bank 2 Sensor 1

very common after long tube install,, your tuner should be able to fix it.

Or if you are concerned with your warranty, you could try re-setting the
ECM like "Tag" did.

The rear o2`s are tured off by the tuner, these codes are the fronts, obviously you do nt want to turn them off, so how to you adjust the tune to get rid of the code happening?

SLP has and answer to code problems with headers....
http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...T&BIG=27022T-1
SLP DiabloSport Predator will come equipped with a modified custom tune for SLP Long Tube Headers and/or full X-Pipes. "SLP Custom Header Tune" adjusts for fueling and re-calibrates oxygen sensors.

It`s probably talking about the rear o2`s. Those won`t work properly no matter what after the long tubes. The fronts well I`m not sure a tune could fix this, I`m thinking the o2 extensions may be too long causing this. Hopefully somebody has found a resolutuion and will pipe up.
