That is so cool. I have limited aspirations for mine. Some mods but streetable. That is cool. Was he using a delay box or off the foot. Also what type of rims are you using on the rear as I'm having trouble finding a good set of rims.

Alright, I couldn't find info in this or the other thread, but a couple pieces of key info are missing...

What transmission are you guys running? I doubt the original A6 could hold up to that power for more than about 3 runs. Is a Powerglide or BEEFY 4L80E in the works? Maybe take it a step further with a Lenco

Also, do you guys still have the stock drivetrain in it?

I know you said it has the stock suspension, but what about the half-shafts and differential?

Believe it or not, we are still running with the 6L80 and a torque converter with the stock IRS with upgraded 1/2 shafts. These 6L80's are bad @ss trany's. Cant say that about the IRS though, Hopefully someone will come out with gears, clutches and lockers for them soon...

That's funny. With another car people used to ask - how fast does it go 0- 60? The answer was - you should be more concerned with the 60 - 160...

Please post those 60-130 times. Those are too cool !!

Congrats to you. That is one mean-ass car you have there.

Glad that 6L80E is still holding up for you. That is a true testament to how tough they really are. With regards to the IRS, there are quite a few places working on them.

Is the 6L80E stock or beefed up in any way?

It is unbelievable. I have been out on business but was home for one night and took a friend for a drive. The power hits hard and fast. I will be home through Xmas so will get a chance to drive it now. Looking forward to see your car keep marching to the mid-9's or better.
