Yes to a point, you would benefit greatly with a custom tune though.

How often do you plan on driving in 2 ft of water?

I have real concerns being in S.W. Florida. We get extremely heavy thunderstorms. I've already been caught in a few situations where I had no option other than drive through some pretty deep water (maybe 12'' or so).
Someone mentioned the Fastlane intake sat behind the fog lights. The fog lights (actually driving lights) are only 13'' off the ground. The regular headlights sit 24'' off the ground. Water also has a way of being moved/pushed/splashed into areas under force. Where exactly does the Fastlane intake sit. Is it down low behind the fog lights or up higher behind the regular headlights? |

The Fastlane sits right behind the fog lamp assemly.
Others are at stock height close to the hood. Ted.

We have had several large storm fronts move through the Houston area as of late and have had no issues with water ingestion in our intakes. We have numerous Pipelines burning gas in the metro area. As they say about Houston, flash flooding all the time, but no issues with the Pipeline. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks for the support Ted. All the best, Fastlane. |

Under normal circumstances Water injestion will NOT be a Problem with the Fastlane Pipeline, but is seems he has already experience driving throught 12+ inches of Water. Ted.

It's years later
Has anyone had issues with water using Pipeline because I still haven't heard any? Moreover, has anyone put a supercharger to this intake and had any issues? I ask because Ive heard some issues with Kenne Bell

+1 on Ted working on the fastlane intake. He tuned mine and my car screams with this intake. Also with water ingestion, I have gone through some thunderstorms here and there, but nothing like 6" of standing water and nothing has happened to the car. On top of that my filter is right on the opening for my ACS t3 ducts so if I was going to get water in it would have happened.
