Exclamation My ******** Install

I ordered the Regular 10" Driver Side enclosure, Passenger side amp rack, and the amp install kit. For the equipment, I went with JL Audio and got a 10" w6 sub and a 500/1 amp. I also won a box of Second Skin Audio's newest sound deadener called 'SPL Tiles' and installed those in the trunk as well!

Got the piece of plexiglass added behind the window and 2x 6 LED strips added to the sides of the amp to backlight the window.

I was not creative at all I just covered the amp cover in the matching material and attached it over the amp. I don't see a reason to "show" off the amp and there's plenty of air circulating, so other than looks, I'm not sure of the reason to open her up

Looks great!

How close did the internal volume of the enclosure match up with the w6 requirements?

I can't wait to see the final pics with the amp cover on. I would also love to hear more about the overall sound/happiness with it. This is the same sub and amp combo I am looking at getting.

JL's website recommends 0.8 cu. ft for a sealed box which is exactly what ********'s box advertises so it was a perfect match even with the displacement. As far as sound, I'm loving it considering it's my first 10" sub and I had a 3000w RMS sub in my last vehicle. It is a VERY nice SQ sub, get it

Also today, I just installed the bass knob and had it mounted on the plaque on the dash near the ignition, it looks beautiful I'll get some pics in a little while.

I also just ordered a sub grill from JL's website since my local audio shop was out of stock.

The amp rack will be installed on Wednesday morning and I'll have those pics to you then as well.

How did you route the sub volume knob from the trunk to the dash?

I routed the wire through the driver side paneling, under the door sill (sp?), and then up through the fuse box into the dash.
