i was going to have the heads probably ported at the same time the cam is installed. Backstreet Performance in Medina is the company doing the work. i dont know that they can port the heads there but i am going to have them done.

now i am not adding boost to the car yet, but i would like to possibly by the end of next year. and i would hate for the rockers to blow and the bearings shoot all over the inside of the heads.

The other benefit of roller rockers is that you wont wear your valveguides as much with a high lift/ faster ramping cam. With a higher lift cam you can load the valve stem sideways wich increases wear on the guides.

The stock rocker arms are plenty strong but that isn't really the issue with reusing them. You can do the trunion upgrade and that may keep you from having the same type of failures as the others in this thread but if you plan on driving your car for awhile with your new cam setup than you need roller rockers.

Check this out.

well yeah i plan on driving it with this cam for quite a while. im keeping the stock components if i ever feel the need to remove them, but i plan on keeping the cam in unless i happen to just hate the ride. but when it comes to power, i can deal with just about anything that may change the ride.
