OMG same here...i filled up today and i also have an average of 21.5 MPG...i decided to go with middle grade gas this time....the first or two times (cant remember how many times i filled gas in my car )i filled up i put supreme...what about u?
No reason to use supreme on motors not designed for it, you will actually not get any better performance and can possibly harm your motor. Supreme (i.e. 93 octane and above) is for high compression high performance engines only.

I wouldn't use anything higher then what the manual states..

We are def. enjoying ours, we have about 2600 miles, and we use 91 octane. Thats all we can get where we live.

Oh yea we average about 14 mpg. That's all town driving pretty much, and with the sound and the power the SS's have well, it's hard to drive easy, man she is fun to drive. We did average about 22 mpg on the open road bringing her home though.

I think everbody is comparing LTs v6 to SS v8. cant do it. lol. But do agree higher octane in V6s isnt really worth it. V8s on the other hand. Everyone enjoy.

Anyway i'm sure your going to see her soon and we'll be waiting for pics.....

Brad: Alaska is most definitely big; over twice the size of Texas and fewer roads than any state (I think). We've only got about 40 miles of roads in Juneau, so not many places to drive...besides, it's winter, the roads are icy and when the Camaro (finally) arrives, it's just going to get parked in the garage for a few more months anyway. I was looking for a photo of the northern lights for you and found one we took a few years back, but I'm not sure it's in a supportable format; I'll try and attach it anyway. I'll be taking pics when it does arrive, just to prove it did! My dealer called today and said it's headed to the Port of Seattle; been sitting in Kent awhile (about a month by my calculations...oh well.) Could arrive here as soon as next week! Merry Christmas to us! ...no luck on the file; it's a .psd file and 36mb, so too big and I haven't loaded photoshop on this new computer yet...sorry. Mike
