Heyyyy my dad told me that one too. I have always referred my vehicles as the opposite of this and he told me I had it all wrong.

But I still referred my cars as "she" and my truck as "he".

why.

I'm on the fence. At first I used to think it was a little odd but ever since I have bought the Camaro I surprisingly had a few people ask me "what did you name it?" and these are random people outside of Camaro5. Now I am thinking, "should I name it?"

My car is black and silver so I need something dark, dangerous, gothic, intimidating, etc. Although traditionally these cars should be female named... I think I might go with "Hades". The Greek Ruler of the Underworld. Mwhaha. I imagine someone in this thread has thought up of the same name.

I've spent more money on this car (or at least will spend more on it over the next 5 years) than I have spent on my 4 year old. He's gotten everything he wanted and I named him. Why can't I name my car?

I really wanted to give mine a name from the time I brought HER home. Sort of felt compelled that she needed a name. Never named my other cars. I wanted to find a name that represented her being strong, fast, bad, beautiful, etc. I was stummped. but she needed a name. Finnally I decided to call her "Ruby" because what Jewel is red? Must say I was not totally satisfied with the name but it stuck. Then I got on this site & became RubyCamaro. So here we are.
