I ran it on premium and the only mod was slp loud mouth and foose 20" rims. And yea, I drove it like I stole it. That's what their for right?

Lol of course, I only averaged around 12 in my 347... I beat the hell out of that car.

It's enough as I don't believe the car will gain that much more weight even though the engine would be heavier to lose any advantage. The Camaro needs to shed some pounds in order to compete stock for stock.

I did fail to mention that I only drive my hot rods on good days and only to get them out long enough to run the piss out of them alittle. So, I know this would hurt mpg. But my dad's corvette would get in the 20's no matter how hard he ran it. My gt was a 5sp manual with a convertible top.

Then why are you bringing up the Mustangs MPG? Go out and drive a Camaro in the same manner and its going to get poor average fuel economy, too.

That's not true. I run my 2ss the same way and it get's 18 to 19.

seeing as how the camaro ss 6.2l gets the same gas mileage as the mustang gt 4.6l i can only wonder what their numbers are gonna be like now. Its too bad they did out with the legendary 351 windsors...i would get a mustang but their engines are just too small.
