I think GM will respond with that rumored DI 6.2L aluminum block V8 at some point in the Camaro. Unless it was scrapped altogether . . .

Last I heard it was going to be a 5.5L

I think we're all forgetting the 80's when a mustang weighed 3,250 lbs and made 225hp but was still slower than the 3,450 lbs 240 hp IROC and GTA. That's my prediction. Ford's have always been underachievers. Look at the 305 hp 1997 Cobra and the 320 hp 2001 Cobra compared to same year LT1's and LS1's
