Actually the problem is not my boobs..I drive Firetrucks for a living and am very tough and mouthy at that..
It is not that they wont fix the issues..they just keep popping up...over and over...
SO I have been in and out of the dealer.

Last thing I want to say is that I have not hit anything in my car..the bottom just started separating.

Was my post really misleading? If you are a GM Certified Mechanic . READ the forums and you'll make connections.

Why would I have to explain myself to you anyway? I'm basically just asking you to back off the OP, let her take her car to a different dealership and then whatever isn't fixed, let her escalate whatever problems remain from there.

CGM - I suppose it is always possible that the car, even with (10 miles) may have been damaged in transit and I wasn't specifically talking about you. I don't believe this theory because the car has all of the "KNOWN" issues and few extra that aren't out of the ordinary. Again, you don't need to be a mechanic to draw this conclusion. Just have to know how to read and make connections when you can. More about the guy that was flaming you for details like the figurative "0" mile comment.
DK,

You don't believe my theory, which is fine... becuse its YOUR OPINION. Doesn't make you right, doesn't make you wrong. I wish you would stop acting like I can't read; what the hell is wrong with you? If you were not talking specifically about me, then why quote me? I have read about plenty of other issues...doesn't change the fact that because these things keep popping up again and again, this may go beyond the whole "first year bug" thing. No, I am not a mechanic, but apparently niether are you...so instead of jumping all down people's throats without just cause, why don't you remember why we're all here to begin with and actually READ people's posts before jumping into the deep end. Nuff said.

OP, I hope you get your issues resolved. This is an awesome car and you deserve to be able to enjoy the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

Well, I just got off of the phone with a guy at the dealer..my car goes in to be worked on next Wednesday...hopefully, I will be happy in no time..the only thing I didn't like was he is unsure if it will take all day or not. So I drop it off in the morning and am carless all day and then they give me a rental if they keep it?? GRRRR...aggravating...BUT at least it will be fixed.

I believe you stated that you noticed it from the beginning. If this is true you should have never taken the car off the lot. Same thing with the steering wheel. If you knew it was wrong, have them fix it because once it is off the lot, most problems become yours and not the dealers. I'm assumuing you've had to pay for most of the fixes out of pocket.

I would guess because yours was later in the year and maybe they had more of the issues fixed?

We received ours in May, It was made in April
It is true that it usually takes the first model year to work out all the kinks.

I don't understand that. If you get a loaner for warranty work? why don't they give you a car the morning you drop yours off?
Do they think parts falling off your car is a mod that you want done.

Did I hear you right the bottom of your car is seperating?? I am sure you have told the dealer everything. I would write everything that has gone wrong with your car and then go in and talk to the Owner or general manager of the dealership.
Ask them (given the track record of your car) what they intend to do to ensure this car doesn't fall to pieces after the warrenty runs out.
If you need a Negotiator I offer my services.

Keep us informed on what happens.

Wow..you people are picky with exactly how you want things posted..
Here goes..I ordered the car from a dealer in Alabama..who was fabulous to deal with..we drove it home to Florida..I noticed the issues after purchase..that is what I mean by it was that way from the beginning.

If you need me to break it down for you and be more specific I can...it sounds to me like the car was possibly in an accident and put back together for profit. The ACTUAL mileage on her car is insignificant in light of the bigger picture here it's not hard to rig the odometer...WTF...no need to be such a damn jerk about it...
Sorry you took it that way. I wasn't intentionally being a jerk. I was saying why she said 0 miles, which is what your comment was about. You had quoted Mindz comment about the Zero miles being suspicious.

If you did read all 6 pages, then you know I had the same suspicions, per my posts. But then she further explained the "0 miles" was just a place holder for saying it was "brand new".

Again, Sorry if you took my post to be arrogant and a jerk... I truely didn't intend it to come out that way. I was trying to put the mileage thing to rest since it had already been addressed.

Apologies!

EDIT: I love the CGM, sometimes wish I would have gotten that color.

I don't think Diva said anything that offensive.... Why not question Mindz? He brought up the confusion with the "0" miles comment first....
Alright, let's clear this up once and for all please!

CGM DIVA - I wasn't upset about ANYTHING you said and I probably should have quoted Mindz instead of you about the zero miles issue and I am sorry. I know you can read, and I know you love your car. You kinda' got caught in the middle of all of this unfortunately.

Outlawz - I didn't flame anybody, not even you. Too many members appeared to be searching very hard for holes in "Myothercarisafireengines'" story. I don't know if you spoke with her via PM, but I did. She is new to C5; doesn't quite know what to expect from us, but too often people speculate. I do it too. I'm not a saint. She doesn't understand why people are cutting her down because she isn't wording everything precisely as you expect. Secondly, I don't understand what my working knowledge of automotive mechanics has to do with anything. I'm not making anything up nor did I take my own census of members that had these problems. In fact, I just had my oil changed today from my dealership at 2300 miles. I alerted them to the HVAC reprogram bulletin and the spoiler nuts issues. I knew the spoiler wasn't a problem because I had it painted in August by a body shop, but while I was there, they were happy to update my computer. No charge. What you asked me was like me asking you to display your ASE certification in your signature every time you post. If I don't care if you have one, than you certainly shouldn't request me for my experience. You just don't do that, I'm sorry.

Myothercarisafireengine - I'm delighted to know that the dealership is looking into your issues and we're all waiting to hear what comes of your situation. Hopefully you have nothing but good things to report! Good luck!
