Ask for either John or Devon there at the shop. Top notch guys that have been around for a long time. John Powell has done more with GM than I think I can type out including running the entire Corvette Challenge Race series in the 1980's.

All day long, nothing feels better then raw power. Dont get me wrong, I love my bottle. I never drive around with it, ever. Now that I have Nitrous Daves mouting kit for the back of the trunk, I'll be more subject to have it.

One thing you should know about the G6x3 cam, if you dont want raw power dont buy it. There's absolutley no reason why any car thats sporting their "cam only" mod isnt an 11 second car, stick or manual.

We did a G6x3 cam in an L99 car a couple of weeks ago along with headers and a converter. Car weighs 4200#'s with a driver, in a 20" Nitto radial it went an 11.79@116. The car made 445 rwhp, it's a blast to drive.

Cutomer couldnt be happier, we showed him the dyno results of the before and after head swap on my car. Needless to say were putting heads on his car here in the next week or so.

You know transporting your car from Canada to here is alot cheaper then you think. Transport it here and fly down to pick it up and drive it home. I am sure the Lg crew would be very happy to turn your car into a beast.

How much did ya'll mill the heads down, and what is the compression ratio now? Awesome Work too by the way. Can't wait to see what the fast intake will do when it gets ported.

Heads are milled .030 but the valve cut is .105 deep in the piston. Compression ended up about 11.2:1-11.4:1.

Can you tell us what the intake lift is or atleast the piston to valve clearance before the relief was cut? How much does it normally cost to have the pistons fly cut in the car?(Not LG's price, just in general)

There is about .055 of clearance on a stock engine.

We charge 350 to flycut the heads, you can do it yourself, and rent the dummy head and cutter from us for 150 ( plus 300$ core charge you get back when its returned) and do it yourself.

Is that .055 with the g6x3 cam or is that the clearance with the stock cam too? Is fly cutting pistons a pretty common procedure for shops? As in would most quality performance shops have the equipment and the knowledge to flycut in the car?

I think a lot of guys would know about fly cutting by now as this has been done for a long time in the older 4th gen cars.

When you order a cam from us, we are going to tell you what fits and what does not.
