Did I read that wrong? I thought that's what one guy posted. If it isn't true, than the 416HP and around 370 torque will not best the Camaro. Ford has to put more ponies in there because I don't think a suspension alone is going to make up for the speed. At least not at the strip. Lacuna Seca maybe, but not at the track where most guys need it. Depends on what you are into? I think the Camaro right now is a much better touring vehicle over the Mustang anyway but that is just my opinion for whatever it is worth.

It beats at vehicles at Laguna due to its heavy acceleration advantage. Against the 2011 GT, that advantage is now almost none, if not going in the Mustang's favor.

I suppose I shouldn't expect anything less, but still having a live rear axle does suck, and now not having direct injection? These are important minuses. What is Ford waiting for with these important upgrades. Are they not important?

Ford seems to be doing well with its track oriented live axle. We'll see how this live axle holds up on the track to its new found power though. IDK about the disadvantages of not having DI.

Not really. There is no need to have over 300 threads(thats just what ive seen so far)about Mustangs on this Camaro5 site, especially when the threads never stay on topic of the thread title. They always go to the same convos. So they are being merged into one. If someone wants specifics on the mustang, well you know this is Camaro5...lol

So then why do we have a Mustang thread to begin w-

Oh wait, this isn't challengertalk. We don't ban anything that doesn't have a crosshair grille.

Exactly we give it respect but when there are new threads started every day...then they all tend to go the same way it's getting merged into a main thread...thing is..it's mostly the same people talking about the same thing..in multiple threads.

Amen to that. In fact I think the afore mentioned site tries to actively dissuade non-challenger owners from viewing their site..

It just crashed my browser. XD Haven't seen Mustangsource do that yet.
