One thing that bugs me on modern cars, is how the wheel wells don't contain dirt and debris like they used to. The tires stick out too far relative to the body & wheel well. On old cars the tires were set back more in the wheel wells and didn't splash dirt and debris up on the side of the car. Plus you had some luxury cars that even had that panel that covered the top half of the rear wheels.

Venture Shield would prevent the damage. Clear Bra material installed from the rocker panels up to the "gills" to the wheel opening and then behind the rear wheels.

Sure but then its a matter of how much is that gonna run me? It'd be nice if it just came in IBM. I doubt I could do a respectable job painting it myself.

Your car is almost black. If it were me, I'd put them on there and no one would hardly notice.

Care to see what they look like on summit white?

Problem with chips in paint

I have the same problem with rock chips in the area below the door, the gills and behind the rear tire with only 2600 miles on it. I was told by the dealership that this was not their problem and i needed a new paint job in those area which I now have an estimate of $3500.00. I am ordering the splash guards to see if it helps but I also wrote to GM. This seems to be a problem and needs to be addressed.

We ordered our splash guards and had them before our car was delivered...I thought they would look terrible, because I had never even seen the Camaro in person before it was delivered, however I think they look ok, and they do protect the car....

I feel your pain Mud flaps N/A in IBM really makes me As a result, since they are not available unpainted, I feel a little ripped off that not only do I have to buy the wrong colour, but also have to pay to get them repainted too! What a waste of money! I held up the set of black ones to my IBM and they looked like SH*T so painting them is the only way to go. :(

I have the same problem, however I caught it and bought the guards before it got any worse. The paint on these cars is garbage, and its my only real complaint with the car.
