I hear ya. I'm always amazed at how people I know well, people I hardly know, and people I don't know at all ask me how much I paid for things. My car, my house... etc. It's as if all their social skills went flying out the window, never to be seen from again.

When they ask "How much did you pay?", I usually respond with, "A bit."
When they ask again (and they do), I turn to them, look them in the eye... pause... then repeat myself "A bit." Then go right back to the conversation.

Someone inevitably gets defensive and starts in on "Wow, you must have paid a lot if you won't tell me." To which I respond, "My mother told me there would be rude people like you..."
And then, for the one person per year who STILL persists after that, I turn to them and say, "Since you can't seem to understand the obvious, allow me to clarify with language you'll understand... it's ... none... of... your... ****ing... business." Then back to the conversation at hand.

I'm constantly amazed by people who just naturally assume they have the right to know what I make and what I spend it on. Weird!

The dumbest thing ever said was the day I brought it to work for the first time, the son of my boss happened to come to see his dad and looked to me and said, "I see you brought your Mustang in today, man that thing is sharp!" Talk about wanting to kick someone in the "bag"!!! How dare him call my baby a Mustang!!!!

I work at a Chevy Dealership and think the Bailout was the wrong move. They gave GM and Chry over 50 billion and they both went belly up anyway. What they should have done is the bankrupcy followed by the CARS program for Chry and GM ONLY and have them sell out of inventory. That 50 billion could have sold a lot of cars in the clunker program.

GM is just making it's second payment now, and is on line to have the entire government loan paid off by the end of 2010. If that is their goal, then I hope that they make it. It will be awesome if all works out as planned.

That's a nice Chally! You Nitwit, it's a new Camaro. They were quickly corrected. An another JACKA$$ told the he drove my Maro before I did cause He loaded and unloaded at the Dealer from his car carrier. But I stole his thunder, cause I personally drove my Maro from the railyard to the Dealer. He argued with me for a moment til I told him to beat it.
