I'd be curious of any gains in HP....I was told by someone at GM Performance that the stock manifold is actually very free flowing...and a set they tested on a stand only gained about 1HP. Long tubes were a better gain.

Let me know -

No gaskets, instructions say to reuse OEM ones.

To those wanting sound, before and after, there is already some before on here, there will be some after soon, lol. I believe there is some before for scrming as well.

I'm calling my shop tomorrow about install, dyno. Maybe Tuesday, Wednesday?

Getting installed tomorrow morning, 9am. $175 for the install with dyno pull(s) after. Not too bad considering that there is a bit of cutting/welding involved.

Crossing my fingers the weather doesn't get too shaky so PacMan can see the dyno.

Wouldn't go that far, lol. But Rick is cool, and he's stoked to be playing with the new Camaro as much as I am. He's a big horsepower nut, and really wants me to go forced induction, ala STS, lol. They are supercharging a 3rd gen now, it just made 385rwhp with 6.5psi of boost. They are waiting on a new pulley, going for 9-10psi. My car dyno'd better then the 3rd gen before the boost, cheaters, lol. (the 3rd gen had more torque of course )

Anyway, Rick is cool about it, and really wants to see me hit 300^2. So he's cutting me better prices then usual. I'm cool with that, lol

If I was to go FI, I think I would wait for Turbonetics...

I'm not going FI unless 300^2 doesn't happen naturally aspirated. I will still have the tune/ intake to do, maybe a throttle body later? Might even try a bit of spray, I'm not 100% sold on anything yet.

Any news on the Turbonetics set up?

300 may be a bit tough... TB most likely won't do anything until you go FI.. Maybe port and polish the heads... loose the stock cats...

Do you plan on hitting the track next year?

Yep. 1/8th mile though. Closest 1/4 is in St.Louis, Gateway International. I do have a gshock perfomance meter, it'll do 1/4 mile, and I know mags used to use it. Don't know if I'd swear to it's numbers though, lol.

You have to remove 3/4" of the stock pipe in front of the cats. Then weld on the Stacker Flanges, as JBA calls them. That's it.

On my way out the door now.
