Yum that does sound good. I'm easing into a high protein, low carb diet so the steak sounds great I just need to go check on the number of carbs in a glass of merlot.

Edit: Okay I'm good. Only about 3 grams of carbs in a glass!

lol, that will go away and the next workouts you wont be as sore. I took about 3 weeks off from the weights and when I got back into it a couple of weeks ago OMG, I needed a soft cushion under me when I sat down, ha ha

What about that personal trainer of yours???

I decided to start early so I could find my way around the gym again before all the "new year's resolution" people fill up the place! This weekend it will be packed!

oh my Abygale... you are missing out.

No offense Bonnie... but your just a tad off in your description (of this wine). The cherry wine you had was probably a chardonnay or other type of grape wine flavored with cherry concentrate. Thats how they do it in Texas and other southern states. Ridiculous I know.

BUT in the great state of Michigan (Never Mess with the Mitten) we (I say we like I am part of the wineries) ferment the actual cherries... there are no grapes in this wine what so ever. Michigan is imerging as one of the premier wine climates in the nation. It is one of only a few places in the world that you can actually make a natural Ice Wine as well. 112 wineries up there.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michigan_wine

They can make all sorts of Cherry wine, sweet, dry, port, etc. If you check that link out, you will see Traverse City "Cherry Capital of the world" my hometown... hence my little obsession, haha.

Bonnie/Abygal
If I bring one of my best bottles of Cherry Wine to C5F would you like to have a glass with me.... It has to be done before the Bud Light and Wild Turkey starts flowing though. PQ..... you are definitely in too buddy

I would like that very much Kyle, thank you!

Kyle, it looks like Michigan is known for fruit brandy too....interesting.

There is a winery near here that makes Elderberry Wine and Elderberry concentrate, it is supposed to be very good for you and will help ward off colds. I'm rarely sick so I haven't tried it but a lot of people swear by it.
