Does anyone have a picture of carbonfiber next to the CGM paint for me to look at? I am considering getting this...
http://www.hennesseyperformancestore...carbongfx.html
I would like to know how it looks so I can decide if I should just buy this... http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=92208008 and have painted or buy or just buy the Hydrocarbon ones instead. Yes everyone I know hydrocarbon is just an overlay and not the real thing.

^ I am actually curious to see how a carbon fiber hood would look on a CGM.

jx2bang, why buy the Hennessey Hydro Carbon when you can buy real carbon fiber ground efx kit from Seibon. Prices are not listed on the website, but I think theres a dealer on here thats sells it. I think the Seibon prices are lower than the fake carbon fiber from Hennessey. Just don't want you wasteing money on junk.

After seeing a lot of great cars with custom stripe paint jobs, I decided I had to get mine done as soon as I got my car. Paint colors are by far the hardest decision with the Camaro, but after deciding on a CGM car, I decided to go with SIM bumblebee stripes. However, I coulnd't just go with the standard, and after seeing Doug's car (TAG UR IT) and his awesome paint colors, I decided to go with the blue outline on my stripes. I also had them paint the bow ties the same blue.

Aadvantage Autoworks in North Richland Hills, Texas, did all the painting and did a great job! I highly recommend them. They came highly recommended from the first gen Camaro club and I can see why. I am really anal when it comes to my car and the job is virtually flawless. They sanded it down right and put on several layers of clear coat afterward. The seems are really smooth.

So special thanks go out to:
- DJSNOFLAKE - for selling me that CGM looks great with SIM bumblebee stripes
- TAG UR IT - for the colors. Doug thanks for sending me the actual paint code on the blue, that was key. and
- CERBERUS - for the stripe layout that I liked best (sorry guys, no bikini babe with my car)

Here are some pics:

This was a pretty good pick showing teh blue flake in the CGM paint:

I have a few more pictures in my album:

I love this car!

Dude! That is AWESOME!!! I LOVE IT!!!

We are going to need to get together for a shoot...that paint job is just too cool!!!

I just checked thier website, and noticed that all of the stuff for the Camaro is OEM style with the exception of the hoods. I did not find the ground efx kit there. If you know where it is I would aprreciate your help.

Edit...

I did just find this at another site though, is this waht you are talking about?

jx2bang, heres the link for Hennessey Hydro Carbon.

http://www.hennesseyperformancestore...carbongfx.html

here's the dealer for Seibon Carbon Fiber.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ghlight=seibon

The Hennessey junk hydro carbon is 4k, while the real carbon fiber is roughly $2600. Hydro Carbon is just a sticker over plastic. Like I said, I hate for you throw your money away on fake carbon fiber.

Picked up mine a few weeks ago. After I thought I wanted the yellow one and building a few different colors online I had decided to go with the Blue and black rally's. After seeing the blue I went with the CGM as it's a killer color. Just posting one photo as there are plenty to see here.

I think the CGM with black accents is classy. That's what I plan to do with my CGM Camaro. Black hood spears.
