just a couple of things I noticed: It looks like in the center storage console, there's a spot to plug a usb device - is this where we'll load our music into the radio from?

Also, in the bottom of the Driver's side door, there's a small button - it looks like a trunk release button. Is this the "Shunt" release button (kinda like the trunk monkey thing - push the button & Shunt will come out & beat some poor Mustang driver's ass?)

Very innovative GM - incorporating the button into the door is cool - nobody else will have it like this. Same with the USB plug in - normally it has to go right into the radio & stick out like a sore thumbe but not with the Camaro.

(P.S. - just noticed someone else also asked if this was the shunt release button - sorry for repeating it but when I saw it I just thought of the trunk monkey thing & laughed...)

Is that red positive terminal on the driver's side of the engine bay there so you can jump the car from either end, assuming the battery is in the trunk like the G8?

Sadly the locations you mentioned in the thread for the trunk release and the USB/Aux plug are not really a new location for those in new cars.. The 08 Hyundai Sonata has the same buttons and same locations for these items.. It WILL be nice to have them where they are located though.

Chevy put the trunk release of both of my vettes on the drivers door, so its not something chevy has not done before

New Question, was it just me or did I see a 6500 rpm redline (or somewhere close to that) on the tach? This is an Auto, so assuming it has the L99, should this not have a 6000 redline? Did someone whos out there get a better look at the tach? Just courious?
(sure would liketo do some tweeks on the L99, but from what I've read, the valvetrain is the main limiting factor.
