so i got my windows done & i have a question
should my car have no tiny bubbles whatsoever or r they unavoidable?

Depends, when did you get your windows tinted? Mine had tiny bubbles in them for like a day or two, which is normal.. If its been like more than a week then I would start to wonder, but if it's been on a couple days no worries.

Had mine done and no bubbles at all. The shop did an excellent job. 20%

You should not have any bubbles in there. This is the type of tint they used one mine. By the way, I paid extra for their ceramic tint. Out here in California, it really cuts out alot more of the heat than the standard tint!

The tint will generally have a couple of bubbles in there for the first day or two. They will work themselves out and you will have no bubbles whatsoever eventually. If they do not work themselves out, then go back to the tint shop and they will remove the tint and reapply a new tint piece.

Just don't roll down the windows for 2 weeks like they say and everything will be fine.

didnt want to start a new thread, but when getting the rear window tinted, are you guys tinting over the 3rd brake light? or cutting the tint so it goes around it?

I had tiny bubbles for like four days but each day i checked they disappeared and within 5 days they were all gone...so nothing to worry about...

Like the others have said, you should not have bubbles after a short time. If you do or bubbles start appearing, hopefully the people that did the tint have a warranty and will correct it.

As for the brake light, my opinion is to cut around it. This may vary from state to state but your local troopers my not like it. (Not like you're already driving a moving target anyway.) Besides I wouldn't want to give some J.A. an excuse for not seeing that light and rear-end me.

tinted @ 20% and no bubbles - had other cars tinted and this shop was fantastic in workmanship and price.

In my last car I rolled them down after 2 and they were perfectly fine.

Do what you want, I'm just following the recommended time till rolling down the windows. It's better safe then sorry in my opinion, cause if you roll the windows down and you do mess up the tint, that is not covered under warrenty.

You want to let the tint cure to the glass (remove bubbles etc...). If you roll down the windows when the tint has not cured, you pose the risk of peeling the tint off. It doesn't always happen, but it is a possibility.
