I think it would be hilarious if my husband decided he wants a Camaro after I get mine. NOT. He's shopping for a Honda CRV.

My wife has not drove mine yet. To scared to drive it. Maybe I better let her keep thinking that way. She took my Silverado away once she drove it!

Mine is VR but once she spied that IOM, it was all over. She was going to have one.

It is a bit odd. I'm the one who's into cars, stereos, big screen tvs, and computers. He prefers romantic comedies!

I'd LOVE it if he was into electronics and cars! We do share a lot of common interests though. Also, when it comes to all things electronics (like our Pioneer Kuro), he lets me pick them out and says I do a great job!

My husband bought me the 2SS. So, I would leave the 68' for him to drive. It works great and we have a blast driving them though town together.

Update . . .

I talked her out of the keys . . . finally . . . wife gave me the keys, accompanied by many threats if I got a scratch on it . . .

Before I left, she threatened to call Onstar to see how fast I drove it and to see if I went over 4000 rpm while I was out! [I don't think Onstar provides that service, but I did not take any chances . . . kept it under 4,000 rpm . . . break in period and all that stuff.]

Took it out for 34 miles on two lane curvy roads . . .

What can I say? Unbelievable! It rocks!

The result? The first time in decades I have thought about running away from home since I was five years old

Why? Because I knew if I did not run away from home now came home with it and came back home with the Camaro, I would have to share it with my wife!

She informed me that such would be impossible, since I can only share what I own--and since it is her car and not mine (as I was forcefully reminded)--only she has the right to share . . . when she wants to . . . with me . . . if I am real nice! She will let me know!

I already have two jobs. I may have to get a third job so that I can afford to buy a second Camaro! I noticed on this thread that I would not be the first to have to do that, right VetteMark?

So that would be: 2SS RS 6M + 2

I am telling you folks . . . I have been married to this absolutely gentile, beautiful, nearly timid, kind, quiet, hospitable, compassionate, gracious southern belle for 12 years now . . . she not only has "bonded with the car," but she has turned into the car . . . they are both monsters now! :-)

Re-warning: Do not let your wife drive your Camaro!

Re-warning: Do not let your husband drive your Camaro, either!

Dude,

uhmmm, not to burst your bubble, but you were played, (CLOWNED) by one of the best... She probably knew there were no Black G-8's for a thousand miles... I think it's hysterical.... Has she ever let you pick something up at the store and you felt guilty about buying it and she said it was ok, you carry it in the buggy for 30 minutes or so and then end up setting it on a shelf somewhere else deciding you really don't want or need it.... Same thing... lol....

She Got You.... "Too Scary" my arse...

Mrs Rhetor, Enjoy the new ride...

Mr Rhetor, go get your own... she got you, but can't argue with you getting one now...

This is Classic...

What color would you like YOUR Camaro to be?
