I found that if I put the SS in comp mode with trac cont disabled in S gear, I get around in the snow a lot easier than without those. It is very frustrating, and scary, when the back end lets loose on the ice tho. Mine is a DD and I am very satisfied with my off the lot purchase. I am looking for winter tires too. Just can't believe the price of them. Will probably go with the Blizzak by Bridgestone.

Sounds good, I wouldn't mind showing up and hanging out... as long it isn't the same time as Thunder hockey or WSU basketball

Looking possibly First Saturday of March time frame of about 3pm-7pm. Original Meeting place was Old Chicago East, can meet same place or somewhere else.... But that's a ways down the road so not too concerned about it now, will iron it out later on.

May try and see if enough people are willing to show, to get some incentives for us or gift give-a-ways.

All I can say is thank God for Traction Control.. Otherwise my SS would be an expensive driveway ornament. I am down for a lil meet and greet, so yall are thinkin about doing it in the Witchita area? Do we have any KC Camaro Clan that want to throw in your opinions on when we should meet again? Lets do it... Put together a meet, dinner and cruise.. Maybe a cruise out to KCIR.. : )

I live in JC too. Can't wait for the roads to clear up a little more, so I can go for my cruises again, but with the weather the way it is, just short trips for me.

FYI
this Memorial weekend one of the TrailblazerSS forums are organizing another Nationals (the 3rd) at KCIR and I believe it will be an all SS event.
I'll keep you posted if interested.

Anyone stake claim to the Red SS with white racing stripes that I pulled up next to in my camaro in Derby on rock road and honked my horn at... ?

FYI, looks to be a 100% no go for me on the Camaro5Fest. We had some water pipes bust (most likely due to the 2-3 degree weather) that run to our attic to become pre-heated from solar panels before going to the water heater in the basement.

To say the least, it ran down into the main part of the house and all the way into the basement staining the ceilings, carpet, and walls.

Thus it will be eating up any and all of what money was saved for Camaro5fest trip and then some, thanks to insurance only doing so much.
