Ok, i have an early production car...9691... and yes... i have seen a few MINOR things... spoiler issue, paint defects, small fluid leak etc...... you have a early VIN 11,xxx something, its gonna have some issues. If you think ur gonna buy a car that has absolutely no flaws, u might better keep what you have and not buy anything else, not being a smartass.... but quality to that standard went out the window years ago.

To each their own ! I had a 1996 911 that I sold after a year. It just didn't measure up to all the expectations. However I think I paid almost twice what I paid for the camaro. I kind of like the new chevy commercials, Compare and may the best car win. I think the best car for me is the camaro in all phases. It just wasn't for you !

Sorry fellas,,, it's one mans opinion... I pointed out what I feel are flaws that a new car should not have. Yes, trivial,,, but annoying,,,
Its a beauty,,, it runs great... but does not have the power I would expect. and Please dnt tell me about the fuse pull... or High octane... been there, dont that. People post on these forums to express an opinion.... my Opinion is, did not meet expectation... period if you happy with yours, cool.... and for the one questioning keeping my 99, yea why not. The monthly payment I save for the time, will go towards what I ever I decide to get in the future... |

The body gaps were an issue for me as well. I thought it was rather odd to have uneven gaps, problem joints where i know paint will chip eventually, and some other little things. Not enough for me as it was for you it seems, but just things I noticed as well.

As some have said, you decided to purchase a early build car...early build cars have more kinks and flaws than ones built later. The factories take some time adjusting and adapting, fitting and putting together to get things right, and the bits and pieces that make the car have flaws too...none the less...hopefully one day you will return to Camaro...
