Tony...(or anyone else who installed them) focusing on the rear emblem...the SS letters are on that black oval background...do the letters come off of that background? or are they fixed on it and the whole oval gets glued to the rear panel? I wanna keep the stock paint on the rear panel but I think the letters on the black oval background would not look very good. Thanks

they come off. there not even stuck it it when you get em new. i just put em on there to show you how they are suppose to go. I used it on my camaro to cover up the most stupid guide holes than gm used to install the bowtie.

BUMP! I would like to put on the rear emblems without the black out (the car is already black). Will they cover the guide holes for the bowtie? I'm actually more interested in using the Trailblazer emblems (part # 15211285). I think these are actually a little bigger. If the SLP emblems won't cover the holes, does anyone know if the larger emblems will?

Yes if you use that part number it will cover the holes. I used it on mine, although I have a vinyl black out. Another member used it on his without the black out.

THANKS!

I would still like to know if the SLP emblems will cover the holes. I think I may be flopping and leaning more toward the retro style now.

What did you guys who have bought the SLP insert and logos pay for shipping? I was about to pull the trigger until I found out that they wanted $25 for their cheapest shipping option (UPS ground). And, as if that wasn't outrageous enough, they wanted to tack on a $4.95 handling charge.
