From what i've seen they are the same door panels. I didn't really pay that close attention to what the lt door panels looks like.

I can't see why it wouldn't. The panels on the 1SS and 1LT appear to be just like these only covered in cloth. There appears to be no mention of 2LT and 2SS when you go to GMpartsdirect.com to look up the part numbers.

You know the reason that switchblade silver is available might be if someone wanted to upgrade their 1SS and 1LT to look like the 2 counterparts.

No definite answer yet, still looking into the possibility. The dash pieces in particular have what looks like a hard clear shell. Stay tuned.....

ok. i have seen where some people have painted their stock ones, but if you have the ambient lighting im not sure exactly how to go about painting it so that the abl is still able to be seen. i think it would be better to paint from the back, but atleast with the dash pieces, the clips that hold it on the dash would need to be removed and then reinstalled correctly. so im totally lost!

One of my clips is starting to come loose. It is from me taking the trim on and off. I figure if it comes completely off, I'll use PVC cement to fasten it again.

You could probably heat up the glue and remove them to do the painting though.

On the stock pieces for the dash if you do the ambient lighting, you need to at the very least, sand the top bevel line.
