How does the 4th gens windshield compare to the 5th gens?
It's actually reminiscent of a looking out a first gen windsheild, ESPECIALLY a convertible with the top is up and it's shorter windsheild . Took just a little getting used to at first. So between that and the a-pillar/mirror blind spots on my '00 S-10, I should be good to go!

Thanks Mike, you made my week. That's exactly what I was looking for! Now I just need to find a way to keep myself distracted until Friday.

Nice pictures, thanks. I love the yellow. What I don't like that shark fin on it, sticks out like a sore thumb. I can live with it, but I would like for it to be painted.

Agree with you on this...it looks especially bad on the lighter color cars. I suspect on black and dark blue you wont but for anyone who is looking at colors other than that it's going to look somewhat tacky. Audi has some models that have significantly larger "fins" on their cars and they paint them to match the car.....not sure why this would add a lot of cost/complexity to the car but i'm hoping they change this before production.

LED Tails?

Anyone catch if the RS or SS models had LED-based tail lights?

It's really upsetting since I am falling for the Yellow color.

I have faith that GM will fix this, if it doesn't cost much to paint, i wouldn't see a problem with doing this.

PS - i hear ya, i'm going with either the IOM or the ABM....although, i think that now i see the two tone orange interior and lighting package, i'm just about sold.

According to what I heard if this shark fin is like the shark fins used on other GM's it will be hard to paint.

Can't be too hard to do...just have to be in the right price bracket.
