Has anyone found a good tuner yet like Diablosports tuner?

So we dropped off our baby AGAIN at Watson service dept. :( Trunk is still leaking water when I wash it (almost everyday), and the brakes still have a very high pitched squeal. They also have to take it into the body shop to repair chipped paint on the rear quarter panel. Has anyone else had any of these problems? When I was down there there were 15 Camaros in stock on display! I couldn't believe my eyes, I was in camaro heaven!!

Yeah when I was prepping for my delivery one of the salesmen mentioned they had ordered 25 camaros for the floor to be in around the new year. Must be nice....

Damn, looks like I need to get ready to add to the list

As far as tuners go, I am leaning towards Diablosports tuner, you can set your tune back to stock before you goto the dealer, and one of the camaro5.com sponsors that sell them can email you a custom tune if you going crazy with mods. 20hp and 20lbs of trc avg

Cheryl, were you headed south on Stone this afternoon and stopped at the light a 6th street with...GASP!!!...MAGNETIC SIGNS.... on your drivers door? If so, I honked and waved and you totally ignored me. I AM CRUSHED.

Flynnaz, putting the tune back to stock wont help with the dealer, they can tell that it has been messed with.

LOL, let me know, I talked to Ted Jannetty of Jannetty Racing Ent Inc. , he told me and I also read the tuner saves your stock tune first before you upgrade it. I know it does leave a fingerprint some how but from what I read, the dealer really has to look for it, and have the right equipment too.

Hmmm... Wonder if we could save on shipping charges if we both ordered at the same time and had them shipped in the same box? Which one are you thinking of, the Predator or the Trinity?

I am looking at getting the Predator, one for the Camaro, and one for the Charger. The Trinity looks nice, but I really do no need to monitor my engine that close. If you order from Jannetty, he will provide support for it, like custom tunes. I will pm you the quoted price, maybe we can get a deal, 3 units, maybe more

I am trying to get this tread turned into a sticky also

Flynnaz, Since you already have a CAI, can I have you place on the Vararam preorder list? You are like 243 and I'm at 311. Glen if you are even thinking about "IT"...check with Vectormotorsports, the TCM portion alone will give you 2 to 3 tenths. (Both PCM and TCM are included for us auto guys)

Yes they can turn AFM off. I believe they can set it at a certain MPH too. The only downside is that you need a laptop. If you go to the tuning section in this forum, look up "Why a Vectormotorsports tune". I did a lot of research on the G8 forums, these guys come highly recommended. Are you still heading for the strip on the 16th?
