I have washed the car in the dark, in the cold. (not THIS cold)
The best thing is to wear latex or vinyl gloves to keep your hands dry.

Sorry, won't make it to the meet this Friday nite @ Otter's.
These record low temps bite. Can't go to a meet with a dirty-girl car!
Dave's making a gumbo, and I'm lighting the fireplace.
