I hope so too. Now I'm busy comming up with excuses to give the boss as to why I need the day off. Nobody at my work knows I'm getting one so can't exactly just come out and say it.

Haha I have done the exact same thing, No one knows that I am getting it excet for my family and my best friend since my Dad kinda ruined that! lol It's going to be a huge shock for everyone!

Darth,

Guess what!?!?! One more sleep!

It sounds like it's going to be only a couple more sleeps for all of us! Darth will get her car built in the beginning of the week and go into transit soon! And then RC and myself will get our cars any day this week hopefully!

So everyone is going to have good news and be happy!!!!!!

I like your optimism, zz! RCLapCar how can you tell from the "code" that my car is partially built? It still says "order broadcast."

I thought about this as well and figured it was kind of nice that my car is likely still inside (although perhaps in pieces). I'm really not upset about it. It gave me a little extra time to save one more paycheck for paying for it. Also, I think I found another rebate I qualify for (USAA). I'm going talk to the dealer about it once I have a VIN.

So, the delay may have been a good thing for me in the long run. In any case, I won't be driving it on salty roads, so a few extra days/weeks is okay. Spring is coming. So, it's all good.

Well as best I can tell 3400 means that parts for your car are being picked and going to the line. The next code we get is 3800 which indicates the car is done. So basically at 3400 you car could be anywhere between a pile of parts on the floor (figuratively speaking of course) to waiting for it's tires to be put on (the last step).

Thanks for that. I've been at 3400 for weeks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll have a VIN on Tuesday.

BeckyD@RodgersChevrolet just confirmed for me that my car has been at 3400 since 12/12. It'll be a month tomorrow at "order broadcast." RAWR!

WOOOOHOOOOO!!!! Go the call this morning around 10AM from my dealer that the car was just dropped off. I just came back from dropping of my winter tires and will be picking it up tommorow afternoon. I don't think I will manage to get any sleep tonight...or work tommorow.
