The Camaro has given so much in my life, memories and other stuff. How could I not stay. Thanks to everyone involved for having an equal amount of faith in striving to make such an awesome car again.

Thank you so much for making people happy. People just don't understand when I talk about my car as though I am talking about one of my kids and they never will.
My husband was over in a base in Quatar when I told them & when it hit the airways, He wasnt to sure unil now, that we will get one when the vert comes out. His first time seeing the new Camaro besides pictures was this spring when we saw our first one (other than the BB car at auto shows, for me) sitting at a local dealership.. even then we couldnt really sit in one, Until one of our friends got theirs.

Scott -

Mere words cannot express what we feel for all that you have done with and for the Camaro...

Incredible is a good start. Maybe awe inspiring. A dream come true. A better lifestyle... It has affected many - in a positive way.

Thank You.

P.S. I know others have been in contact - it would be a great honor if you could stop by Camaro 5 Fest. We would love to have you and so would your hundreds of stock and modified Camaro children.

thank you

This was my dream car since I was 10 yrs old and rode in my uncle's 68SS. I can't describe how excited I was the day I saw the 5th Gen and finally took delivery of mine in December. It's awesome and I'm going to enjoy driving and looking at this car for years to come.

No fbodfather............. Thank You and all of Team Camaro this is not a car its a family member and I am forever grateful for all of the hard work thats went into making this dream a reality
Pretty much this is how I feel. You should not be thanking us for buying a great product. WE should be thanking you for making the great product. There are home runs in the auto industry, and then there are bases loaded down by 3, almost done, when, BAMM a GRAND SLAM sends you to a World Series Victory. This Camaro is such that hit. Think Kurt Gibson HR. Thank You, Thank GM, Thanks Sangyup Lee, Thank America. :flag1: Chevy IS thee Heartbeat of America.

Many of our fellow Camaro/Firebird Enthusiasts were invited to Detroit to be a part of the unveiling -- and as they can tell you, the Camaro Concept stole the show.

I'll never forget watching the faces of so many as the Silver Concept made its way out onto the stage - and then down the aisle -- surrounded by thousands of cheering men and women......

I'll never forget watching a few Chrysler Executives walking over to the Camaro -- and one saying -- (very simply) "Ouch...."

It was a great day to be a Camaro guy or gal.......and my email inbox filled very quickly with comments.

And nearly every message was the same: "BUILD IT!"

followed by "...and it had BETTER look like the concept!!! Don't you DARE screw it up!!!!"

I know January 9th, 2006 was a day I will never forget --

Eight months later, in August of 2006, we announced (in front of Camaro/Firebird Enthusiasts at the General Motors Technical Center) that we had just 'green-lighted' the Camaro - and that it would go into production in the 2010 model year.

We started work in earnest in September of that year --

Fast forward to today, January 9, 2010 -- and our dreams have been realized.

I'm sitting in the Chevy Exhibit as workers frantically rush around getting ready for NAIAS 2010 -- and I'm looking at some Camaros on the floor -- and I still have "Perma-Grin"................

For the seventh month in a row, the new Camaro has outsold Mustang and Challenger combined........

.........and while I want to recognize the date, January 9, 2006 -------

..........I guess I REALLY want to say 'Thank You' --once again (and I can never do it enough) -- for "Keepin' the Faith" --

It would have been very easy for many of you to simply "abandon ship" --

But you didn't.........

Yes, Camaro went on 'Hiatus'...........

-- and when it did, a peculiar thing happened:

Camaro Enthusiast Events continued to be held -- (and many of you put thousands of hours into bringing us memorable times together....) -- and attendance increased!

-- and Websites continued to support us -- (...and I must thank Jason Debler and Chris Frezza for 15 years of hard work in bringing us CamaroZ28.com) -- (...and Jason Ory and his group for a decade of hard work at Z28.com) -- and then there are the hundreds of other Camaro and Camaro/Firebird sites...........

And of course, your letters and emails continued to flood into GM Headquarters -- making it clear that we MUST build a 5th gen.........

Does every Camaro enthusiast love the new Camaro? .....no, I'm afraid not -- but those that don't are in the minority. Frankly, no matter what design we would have chosen, we know that not everyone's gonna love what they see.

But what DOES let me know that the new Camaro hit it's mark is simply this: When you drive the new Camaro, the public treats it like a Rock Star - nearly a YEAR after they hit the road -- and 4 years since the Concept was unveiled.

-- and then there are the emails and notes we continue to receive from those who have just taken delivery of a new Camaro........telling us how much they love their new Camaro........and how many of them have become so emotionally attached to their new Camaro..............

In fact, the new Camaro has spurred a whole host of "New" Camaro sites - "moderncamaro.com" "5thgen.org" and "camaro5.com" to name just to name a few......bringing us a whole 'new' set of Camaro enthusiasts............

So...........on behalf of "Team Camaro" --

..........Thank You -- Thank You -- Thank You --

.................for all you've done for this Legendary Brand...........

........and know that "We aren't done yet!" -- there is much more to come.....................

Now - -go hug your Camaro!
NO!.... Thank You and all of the Camaro Team and Oshawa Build Team! I visited my "Pumpkin" today and gave it a hug. Winter is killing me. Can't wait for spring.

Scott,

I don't know if you'll read this in time, but I have also been at COBO working on NAIAS for the past month. I'd love to come by say hello and introduce myself at some point if you're available. I just took delivery on my black on black 2SS/RS about two weeks ago and I LOVE IT! When I drove it to COBO today and parked it outside the main entrance temporarily someone actually asked me "Hey, isn't this car supposed to be inside?".

I too was thrilled watching the Camaros roll onto the floor to be set up for display.

I'll be there tomorrow, all of press week, and during the public show, it would be great to say hello to a Camaro icon such as yourself.

Will you also be at Chicago?

Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication on the Camaro project!
Hope to see you soon, feel free to PM me.
Joe

The first time I saw the video of the debut of silver concept, I was totally in awe, and actually had goose bumps ( I was at work at the time watching.... Don't tell my boss )......... When I finally arrived at home that night, I told my wife she had to see something..... She watched, and then turned to me and asked what color are you getting ?

Thank you Scott, for always telling us to "keep the faith", because there was a few times that I almost didn't......

Thank you GM for bringing the legend back..... Thank you my friends in Oshawa for building the legend, you guys rock !!!
