I installed mine and took no more than an hour... performance gain is very noticeable and sounds mean too..

One issue though, when I switch off my car I hear a loud pressure release of air coming from the CAI... is this normal? Does it happen to all of you?

I used to hear a similar noise but in my Tacoma. not sure if it's the same sound that yours is making.

just curious, is your car LS3 or L99?

I don't have a 2010 Camaro, but I've used an open element cold air intake before and the noise you're talking about is normal.

agreed. normal for aftermarket CAIs. it's just neutralizing the vacuum.

It arrived yesterday and I installed it with the help of my sister and her friend! Took about 30 - 40 minutes to install and fairly straightforward instructions. Went for a drive afterwards and it made a GREAT difference!!!

i believe they are back-ordered 4-6 weeks from Cold Air Inductions, Inc. IMO, it is worth the wait!

Watch out, some will say they are in stock but are not. I would call them to be sure. I think Jannetty Racing has run into that problem. Their web system must not track their inventory. I bought an 'in stock" unit, but haven't hear anything for 10 days...

You may want to just PM CAI direct. That's how I got mine. They were ultra cool to deal with. Just a suggestion. The unit is pretty dang cool and I dig it. Owned it for about a month now. Although I HATE the half rotating retention screws. Those suck.
