Might also mean that the dealer didnt actually put the order in yet. I know I had a hit on here a few hours after it was placed. At most (unless they put it straight into an allocation) you will only see 1100 - Prelimenary order accepted

True for the most part. Give is a day or 2 then.......

Isn't it a bit long to have a car at 3400 for a month? I know the holiday break was in there, but still... I know, patience is a virtue, but the dealer thought it would be 5 weeks when I ordered because they had several allocated to them. It's now been 9 weeks and I still have no VIN.

Keep thinking... "it'll be so worth it when I get it!"

You just got caught in a time warp. I have a customer who's car is built and is sitting waiting for the stripe guys to get going again. So what's worse, having a car built and not be able to get it, or waiting for the build. It will all be over soon, and yes it's well worth the wait.

Thanks for trying Becky and fp115 I should have figured that Canadian orders wouldn't work. And they are built here and we can't find anything out.....sucks.....I was told by the dealer a few weeks ago that my TPW was Jan 11, but I'm not sure if I'm confident it will get built this week. I ordered it on October 5, so I'm getting a little frustrated as I have no car right now.

Yeah us Canadians have been getting the short end of the stick. Been waiting for mine since the beginning of November. Apparently Canadian dealers got allocations just before shut down, so looks like we will both be getting updates this week.
