Personally, .. I like Chrome .....when done right of course! Too little and you hardly notice it .... TOO MUCH and all you get is

Chrome gills

Chrome wheel well moldings Thin Thick as shown

Rocker moldings .. Thin Wide as shown

IMO flames and chrome together doesn't suit this car! One or the other, but not both.

Don't be haters...

So somebody made their Camaro "their own"....so what? Bet you all made your Camaro's your "own"...doesn't mean everybody loves what you did either. Don't be haters, just look the other way if it bothers you...and be glad they didn't use your money to do it!

I saw this get up somewhere online while I was looking for ideas for my soon to be Maro. Those cheap looking stick ons are really expensive for their gaudy appearance. I would never put that on my car. All that said take the chrome off and that would be a good lookin ride for the most part. Flames could use a tad more work though like others have said previously "to each his own".

Personally I always believed that chrome looks good as long as it's not dominating, it needs to be balanced. With motorcycles I never like chrome side covers because I felt that it drew away from the engine.

But subtle touches of chrome are nice, I put some u-channel chrome (like what people put on the edges of doors) around the bottom lip of my gas tank and fenders and it looks nice.

But as for the camaro, the one thing I like is the kick plates for the inside of the doors, mainly because it's functional.... When I was driving my gf's camaro I kept kicking the door trying to get in and out with my boots.

The rest of it is just over done IMO.

That car has Tim Tebow: written all over it. First, with the orange color and tacky chrome, it just screams Attention Whore. Add in the flames and, well, you get the picture. It would be a nice upgrade for the scooter he rides around on the Hogtown campus.
