TEA does some really nice work!! I've seen what he can to some trick flow heads for my buddies mustang. With a procharger and a crappy vortech igloo cooler car went 7.80's at 180 mph.

DISC Procharged

Guys becarefull with the LS3 motor, they are very nice power plant, force induction are beautiful but, does anyone knows its limit? I had put it to the test and the rods (which is the weak point) gave up at 740rwhp with hard pulls.
Dyno Queens with big HP, yes the LS3 will do it, but hard pulls and, well we all build them to drive them, so no dyno Queen for me so it blew at 740rwhp.

What port work have you done to your heads, and or who has completed the work?

Brandon -

Nice numbers. ProChargers are cool. Hope the bottom end holds up.

With regards to heads - Nelson Racing Engines spent a bunch of time and money setting up a CNC program for this style head. The flow vs price is pretty incredible and every head comes out the same. PM me if you want any further info - I can get you in touch with Tom.

This is why I had my car tuned down. My car pulled 705 rwhp with 21 degrees of timing and making 7 psi. When I left the shop I was at 654 rwhp, 11/50 airfuel, 15 degrees of timing and 6.5 psi. While I know anything can fail at anytime I just feel safer with a conservative tune. Big numbers are nice but saving my motor is nicer!

Yes we are aware of inherit issues that arise at these power levels in the LS3/L99 Late model LS motors. We work with a lot of industry leaders in research and development on aftermarket components, so we are at the leading edge of quality control, and assurance for our clients. However this client wanted to push the limit, and we adhered. We have since tuned the car back slightly until we can finish our prototype intake duel and triple hat systems. The fuel system will at least put the motor at consistent and constant fuel pressure so we can properly tune the car.

I think as far as LS3 goes though Anrdo, you have the highest stock motor LS3 car correct?

I am also familiar with TEA, and Nelson, they both have good engineers with quality equipment, producing good ole American power.

regards

I do not want to come across like I do not have confidence in my engine b/c I do. They are stout when not abused. There are many many guys riding on stock block LS3's making 700 plus HP. Just look on the Corvette forum and you will see it is very common.

My momma always told me that if I keep playing with it I would go blind.

I find it very funny that so many people called when I did my
Vortech install and got 631 rwhp at 7.5# of boost.
Now we are seeing the same and/or higher numbers with the Procharger and nobody questions it at all. So to all that called BS to me with my numbers I say one thing....F off!!

People can call BS all they want. I made 705 on 7 psi.
I saw it with my own eyes!
