yeah its old news but still is ridiculous IMO. I just don't understand what these companies are thinking with some of these prices. Don't get me wrong, I fully understand and appreciate the engineering and design processes that goes into these cars, but 85k for a 'pontiac' thats not even a pontiac is just wrong/odd/stupid! Same situation with (but not limited to) the SLP camaros: $70k+ for a supercharged, tuned camaro?¿? maybe for some, but not me.

Price aside, like I said, the whole concept just doesn't sit well with me.. example: If you put an Escalade grill / front bumper on a chevy tahoe, it doesn't magically transform to a caddy. same situation here.

As cool as that is, the price is high for basically giving the car a new front end, new headlights, a new steering wheel, and carbon fiber inserts in the interior.

well since Pontiac has gone away.....and the Firebird is now history.......if you were as much of a FIREBIRD guy as most of us are CAMARO guys......and there were no other way.....and had loads of extra cash laying around.....well it would be nice addition to your "stable". And on top of that, it would be quite unique as very few people would ever see one.

On the same token, I could design a GTO kit for the Camaro and turn a gargantuan profit. The Barracuda kit is only about $15,000 in comparison to more than doubling the Camaro SS price for a Firebird.

the cuda kit is pretty cool actually...as far as the TA kit the rear is ugly but the front and side look good...but they want how much for it? 45 grand for the kit basically...thats just stupid

but one day when i have extra gobs of money lying around having a car like this would be cool...like a jay leno type garage
