Well thanks...We also can't wait for our trip down, to finally put some faces to our AVATARS and to see the Mods that we all did.

Welcome to the Fest..Your best route would be with jrhaus76 group(Monroe):

http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&sourc...506836&t=h&z=5
We'll see you in Atlanta for the final leg.

Once we decide(soon) which route: I-81 = Winchester & Atlanta near to Summit Racing(2 min); OR I-95 = Winchester & Savannah = Route would be then:

http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&sourc...e=UTF8&t=h&z=5

Waiting replies from the guys
Replies So far:

Atlanta route I-81 = 5
Fredericksburg I-95 = 0

So.... I'm about 90% sure now. Trying to figure out a route. Lots of time I know but excitement has taken hold.

Options:
#1 - Go through Detroit and join Riderover40 / jrhaus76 group (Monroe). 1,900 KMs, but would need to do 1,200kms / about 12 hrs of driving on day 1 - that's a lot! Then only 7 hrs day 2.

#2 - Go through Buffalo and meet RickRay and crew in Winchester for the night. 2,170 kms, 8.5hrs day 1, 12.5 hrs day 2. (Rick - that leg between Winchester and Atlanta is a monster!)

More on day 1 means more energy for day 2 events but miss the extended Canadian Caravan.

Actually I may have just answered my own question - one of them anyway. If meeting the crew in Atlanta on the 16th for approximately 11:00am, that means staying over 4 hours (5 hours max) north of Atlanta to make it in time. Winchester is too far away for that. But Winchester is already about 10 hours from Montreal so..... hmmmm... I guess there's plenty of time to sort this out.

According to this it's only 9.5 hrs.....all these timings do not include rest stops:

http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&sourc...,39.506836&z=5

Also Friday morning we get to sleep in because the JR group are leaving only at Noon and we are 2 min away from there if we pick that Hotel.

I'd love to be in an "All Canadian Convoy"... that does sound like fun!

Right now I am planning on taking the shorter route. I'm going to hook up with Cynagain, Banshee and Rideover40 at the Cracker Barrel, 1101 Ternes Drive, in Monroe, MI at 11:00am on Thursday. It looks Like we'll hook up with you guys just south of Atlanta on Friday morning though. We can get together for the "All Canadian Convoy" there... for the last leg into Valdosta. Shouldn't be too hard to find the Ontario plates.

We would love to hook up with you.

Not sure what your plans are, but... my wife and I were thinking on leaving Whitby at about 3:30pm on Wednesday, and get a hotel near the Cracker Barrel, 1101 Ternes Drive, Monroe, MI. I figure we should be in Monroe MI around 9:00pm Wednesday night. We were going to hook up with Cynagain, Banshee (and you, if we don't hook-up on the Wednesday?) Thursday morning at 11:00am

We should be passing through London at around 6 or 6:30pm Wednesday.

How does that work out for you?
