That is all.

So I was not singling any particular individual out regarding retarded information in this thread. I would have to place your post in that category.

So you are saying buying my wife a 2010 Mustang GT Premium that MSRP'd for $33K which I negotiated out the door for $27K was a bad move?

Mind you this was back in July '09 just after the redesigned body came out as well.

Good argument buddy.

The 370z is by FAR the better performance car... in stock trim anyways.

The Z is faster, handles better, has higher higher handling limits, cool synchro rev match manual, and feels sportier... Its like the poor man's 911.

The Evo X is a great performance car (mostly aftermarket) but if we are going value for dollar, it shouldn't be who has the most aftermarket parts/who can void their warranty faster.
Really? Got an info to back this claim up

Sure what do you judge 'performance' by?

(This the 370z vs. Evo X GSR... the faster of the two Evo's)

The Z will be in bold.

0-60? (4.7 vs. 5.2)

0-100? (12.0 vs. 13.9)

1/4 mile? (13.3 vs. 13.8)

Lateral G.? (.99 vs. .99)

Curb Weight? (3355lbs vs. 3585lbs)

Braking From 60? (106 vs. 111ft)

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...est/index.html

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...test_data.html

And this is just raw technical data. The Z is the more enjoyable car to drive, it feels much more balanced, and has that very cool rev-match manual.

Not to mention the interior materials used in the Z are light years ahead of that in the mitsu.

The Evo is a great performance car, but its not top 3.... unless we are weighing performance/practicality.

And it has two seats versus four.

Which would only be relevant if we were weighing performance and practicality

NB4 lock.

This is interesting. The Mustang will actually be more expensive when the brakes the Camaro has are included. Not sure if this is a good move by Ford.

it "feels" is not an unbiased technical comparison... very cool features do sell cars... oooh, look...... shiney......

transparisteel? unubtanium? mimetic polymers?

why limit our list to top 3. why not top 5. so that it looks better when you are the best amongst all instead of just a few.

Thats all dependent of your perspective

The Z is faster, handles better, has higher higher handling limits, cool synchro rev match manual, and feels sportier... Its like the poor man's 911.

Just like the Camaro is the poor mans corvette.

The Evo X is a great performance car (mostly aftermarket) but if we are going value for dollar, it shouldn't be who has the most aftermarket parts/who can void their warranty faster.
bang for the buck is the best comparison.

or if you were comparing similiar 2 door, 2+2 coupes.

if we are comparing 2 seaters, we can throw all logic out of the conversation and bring in a corvette and a sky to compare...

shame there wasnt a camaro out in 1965...

and while GM sold more F-bodies than Ford sold mustangs, thats what allowed Ford to sell more numbers than the camaro in various years. but dont forget that the Camaro had a sister car that it competed against as well.... since the mustang wasnt much competition.

cheaper cars sell to more people.
