Yeah, the KB's are the most complete kit I have ever worked with. Hell, the KB install manual for the corvette had 255 pages, and 710 pictures. It is no more difficult than the maggie. But the maggie had something like 43 pages. Not that theirs isnt complete, because it is, only that KB literally takes 100% of the guesswork out of it. They have a picture for EVERY step, no matter how small. Even cutting a 1" piece of electrical tape..

They also include every nut, bolt, piece of electrical tape, zip ties, allen wrenches, Hell, they even include the solder if you need to solder a wire. It literally includes EVERY SINGLE PIECE you need with the exception of the hand tools themselves. That is for either the tuner kit or the complete kit. The only difference is the tuner kit doesnt come with injectors or the tune.

They even include the socket size your gonna need when turning the bolt..

Yup, we have 2 systems, did rapid prototype pieces for testing and production units will be available March 15th through FRPP. 2nd system will be out in June.

I can't release any power info or other data until FRPP gives the ok, but they make incredible power. The best part is, at least for some is that the new PCM is extremely sophisticated and will really give incredible performance and reliability. Aftermarket tuners will have a lot harder time than before, especially for a supercharger.

With the KB, everything I needed (blower, throttle body, MAFia, tune, belt, dual Boost-a-Pump, etc.) all came complete in the kit. It took me 4 hours in my garage to install everything and drive down the road with the new blower.

If you are now offering complete kits, that's a great thing as I know the Whipples are great units and certainly make power.
Yes, we now offer complete kits. The reason we didn't actively promote our complete kits before is that we were working with FRPP on a few things. We had complete kits that we did for certain dealerships such as Tasca.

Thanks

I voted KB becuase if their kit is every bit as good as the cobra kits then it will be a winner. I dont think you can go wrong with either though. My question is weither or not the liquid cooling will be offered in the 2.8. I know its offered in the 3.6 but that blower will be a bit big on a stock motor. I will be interested in the 2.8 if it offers the same benefits as the 3.6 that was in the Feb addition of MM & FF ( I used to have a S197 GT, please dont bash me). If it reduces the same amount of parasitic loss, has liquid cooling and seal pressure equalization than I think this will be the blower for me as I can grow into it later.

Another vote for whipple, although anyone who knows us, knows we are centrifugal fans, but we have installed a handful of TVS 2300's now on the fifth gen Camaro with very nice results.

Hats off to Whipple for a proven product in the LS community.

Whipple combined with ECS install & support is a win win situation.

Two companies with Integrity!

Not sure about KB, bout our 2.9L will be offered in water cooled. Though it does nothing at low boost levels, its for higher boost levels.

Yup, it requires a billet adapter but we made it work, so now power restriction there! Thanks Tracy!
