Ok, got back from Fastlane. Pablo is awesome. Hooked me up. I want to thank Nick and Dan (Dyno guy, I hope thats your name, I didn't really catch it the first time) and Pablo for the help.
Anyway, all is good. The car dyno'd at:

325hp and 348 torque. So I am estatic. The guys at the first place obviously didn't know how to run the dyno. Even the curves are a hella-lot smoother from the fastlane run.

I also got the hook up on some suspension parts as well thanks to Pablo. So, Im back in business. I called the dealership today and gave them a heads up and let them know to relax now.

Just installed the CAI intake and it made more difference than I thought it would with the sound. It sounds really good now.
Next is back to Fastlane, suspension parts, probably a catback and a tune.

I'm just glad I didn't have a lemon. On a side note, dealership has been great and was working with me. No fault of theirs. Anyway, I'm excited again. I expected around 300hp when I first rode in the car, but when I got 270, it kinda freaked me out. Well, all is good.

Todd, I know your reading this. Thanks for keeping in touch and being supportive. Will keep you updated on all the goodies that's goin on the car. I'll come by soon so you can check it out.

(2SS) I pulled both fuses and let the car sit for 16 hrs since I wasn't driving it, I took it out today and it was exactly the same with no change, I never felt a decrease in power but I just wanted to give it a try I guess.. It's always had 93 in it.

LS3 M6 here. Ive had the "herky jerkies" and an idle that i always thought could be smoother. I put the car in the driveway and pulled out the fuses at 8:00 pm California time tonight! Im not gonna disconnect the battery (eventhough some guys here swear you have to do it)

Gonna plug the fuses back in before i take her to work tomorrow. (8:00 am)

Will post the results tomorrow.

put the fuses back in, fired her up, idled smoother and couldnt feel herky jerkies at all. i did this fuse pull just to see if it would help with the herky jerkies. i never had a problem with power because she is very violent if I let her loose. very violent. ran a 12.8 @ 110 and she is bone stock! Nevertheless, im happy that it did seem to clear the idle a bit and the hery jerkies were gone this morning.

You run that 12.8 before the fuse pull?

If so, the fuse pull may be resetting something different. Or it's just in your head. lol

The fuse pull originally was to reset the fuel table to the high octane table. Could be resetting something different all together.

Either way, if it made a difference performance wise, you're good to go.

If the car was running normal before you had the mods done then no.

Have you timed it?

Man, I feel like such a newb, I asked my dealer when I bought mine what I needed to run thru it and they told me that the Camaro was meant to run low octane fuel, so I have always done so. Now I can’t wait to fill it up with premium! I never thought my car was slow, but if it’s got more to give, I want it!

By the way, I bought my 2SS in late December, does anyone know for sure that GM fixed this problem or should I pull my fuses anyway?

Mark

Run the tank down as low as you can. Then fill with high octane 91 or higher. Drive the car about down to 1/2 a tank then fill up with high octane again. After that do the fuse pull.

Problem is we are seeing as little as 2 gallons left in the tank causing 91 octane fillup to drop back to low tables even after fuse pull. The best thing is to get the octane up in the tank then do it.

Yup. Like Scott just said. Make sure you are running on a TRUE tank of high octane.

I would time it first, then time it after, just so you know you benefited.

The issue is supposed to be fixed already to re-learn the high table but it won't hurt to try.

Oh, and your dealer (or whoever told you that) is an idiot. The SS can run on low octane yes, but they weren't 'Meant' to. Just meant to be able to. IT WILL BE A FULL SECOND OR MORE SLOWER IF YOU RUN LOW-GRADE GAS THROUGH IT. Of that you can be certain.

Oh, ya. You should explain this to your dealer. If they try to argue, show then the proof that is on this site. We timed video and many a testimonial.

Just pulled the fuses on my LS3 for the hell of it and am going to leave it to sit overnight. It just started raining and looks like its going to rain all tomorrow. Is it okay to put the fuses back in tomorrow without driving it? Will this still do the trick? i don't want to drive it in the rain.

Won't hurt anything. But I'd at least start it up. Just to see if there is a difference on ignition.
