The start of something special (1700 hp)

http://www.tennesspeed.net/forums/do...10-camaro.html

These guys are great. I met Brian and David awhile back and they have one of the cleanest shops around. Needless to say this is the beginning of something big.

Will have to see it on the track/dyno to believe it. Everyone says they can make ________ (fill in the blank) HP on pump gas. If at all possible, please either post the pics here or post of video here or You Tube or Streetfire so we can check it out.

Thanks Albert. You have a nice place up there in TN !!

Well there's not much to look at yet B/C the car isn't started but I'll be sure to update the thread as they do theirs. Hope the guys don't mind. The block is just a work of art - 440ci Billet Dart block and a Procharger F2. Who knows if it'll crest 1700hp but they've got a good foundation for doing so.

BTW I'd just like to clarify this isn't my car and isn't affiliated with our shop here. Just something posted in another forum I thought I'd share.

Thanks for sharing. Hey, believe me, we ARE interested... Please post as it progresses. I have an F-2 on a 540 so it is very interesting.

Copied from Tennesspeed.net:

DBR 2010 Camaro Update

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just got the heads in for the 2010 Camaro we are building:

285cc 12 degree LS7 style head
special port arrangement for max velocity and large push rod clearance
develop specifically for high boost air speed and valve train stability
Utilized Dart/All-pro head bolt arrangement which optimizes push rod and lifter clearance
New Jesel lifter design with offset intake and exhaust
Flowed 391 cfm @ .650 lift @ 28 inches.
One-off set of heads for DBR High Performance
Next step is to send one of the heads and some measurements to Wilson so they can build the intake..... hopefully it will all be worth the wait

Seeing how a f2 is can only support 1600 hp I think it will be short of 1700hp. Still is a nice looking and expensive build .

Those heads are amazing. Look at the clean flow of those runners. Very nice, can't wait to see the end results!
