FYI

Just had my car tinted... TNT put their company sticker on my car's rear window. Had them remove it. They never did this for my previous cars I've taken to them. If you're anal like me, remind them no company stickers. Still like their service and would recommend them.

I spend most of my time at Ala Moana Beach Park and Kapiolani Park so I might see you out there. Usually parked on Paki street or Triangle Park at Kapiolani.

Some comments for the DIY guys...
Shifter and exhaust installed yesterday. What a pain to do on jack stands. But much easier to do shifter while exhaust is out. If you got the $, take it to someone with a lift.

If you plan to install a 3rd party license plate bracket, be sure you can do something quick and easy as a temp or permanent install while car is being prepped at dealer. Servco's union service shop is a little strict and I didn't have much time to do a permanent install for this unit:

Needed to do something quick to pass safety inspection or pay Servco to install it.
I installed the plate holder just to pass safety.

Must be a new thing they are doing. Had my car tinted by them in November and they didn't put their company sticker on my back window. I agree they do a great job and would recommend. I had mine done by the airport store. Which one did you go to?

did any of you see the show on tv today where they showed someone restoring a 1969 Camaro Z28 (purchased as is for $18,000 and cost over $100,000.00 after restore) they picked up as is sitting in a field rusting away without an engine? After restoring back to original (all matching parts), they sold it at auction for $65,000.
