Should we have a countdown to the start of JOB #1 on the production line? They said at the Indy '08 presentation on Saturday Sept. 20th that Job #1 was going to be in 150 days .

Sooooo, 141 days and counting,,,,,,,,

hm they should have a contest or a ticket drawing and you submit your name and if your selected you can test the car for a month or something and tell them :-D lol that would be awesome and sorry for the thread jack.....

JOB #1 is the 1st production Camaro so the day they are referring to is the day that it starts its trip down the production line to be made.

What about a countdown until they arrive at the dealers? I've been told that this is 45 days after production starts so that would place it on April 3rd.

I was told if nothing goes wrong at the assembly plant I would have mine by mid-March.

I took it to mean the first "saleable" production Camaro that can be legally sold to the general public as far as Gov'ment is concerned. Proper VIN, meets all emisions, crash, and other standards. All that stuff.
