If you are looking at 2010 GT500 vs 2011 GT500, I would say get the 2010 for a better deal. The upgrades to the 2011 aren't as steep as the 2011 GT over the 2010 GT. You should be able to get a great deal once the 2011 GT500s are released.

Well, good luck [Camaro offer great bang-for-the buck] with your discussions on the Shelby. Hopefully, I will [What's not to love about an LS-powered Gen5 Camaro] be looking to do the same, only in reverse, in a few months. However, my wife [I love the look of lowered Camaro's] is next to get a new vehicle and she really wants an SRT8 Challenger to replace her Crossfire convertible.

I figure you should be able to get [kiss my ass, you know who you are] a good deal on a 2010. Let us know how it goes.

Just trying to help. LOL

The GT500 is a beast of a car... That would have been a tough trade even for a Camaro...

See GL I did it. I said something nice about a GT500. Cmon you can return the favor. Be a bit of a rebel compliment the camaro even though you are a mustang guy....... all the cool kids do it.

just a little one... I won't tell I promise....

Ha! Just be sure the thread title is something like, "Just bought GT500, but Camaro's still rock!" and you'll be fine.

Only by the portion of those camps on the lower end of the I.Q. scale. Most won't be anything but happy for you.

See was that so hard??? I'll even let the KMA comment go...

Our first session of thearpy wasn't so bad. Now we work on posting in other topics and not mention Gt500 or mustang.. But we'll take baby steps on that... I'd hate for you to relapse...

You have nothing to worry about. I think most people here will just be jealous that you have the best of both worlds.

In response to the thread title, "2011 GT500 Order Guide", my order guide would be:

How to order 550 HP car
- Go to Ford Dealership
- Speak to salesperson about GT500
- Roll eyes at price
- Purchase Camaro SS from nearest Chevy dealership
- Install supercharger
- Drive back to said Ford Dealership
- Greet said salesperson with your new car
- Drive said salesperson to said Chevy dealership to fill out new hire application
FYI, the GT500 has been going for MSRP or less for some time now.

You say that like its a good thing? Lower price usually means it was too high and nobody wanted to buy. This is a good thing for those that can't spend $47,500 on a car but can do $46,500, though.
