Just picked up my SS yesterday. I know pics, pics, pics! Has been cloudy and I want to show off the beauty of CGM in the sun. Trust me all of you that ordered and are waiting, it's worth it. You get to the dealer lot and just KNOW which one is yours.

Bought my 2ss/rs red jewel with tan interior in October. Funny story. Wife told me I couldn't get one.Said me or the car! Wrong thing to tell me in front of people. I have wanted a camaro since I was a kid in high school (graduated in 1979), anyway I work hard and already bought her a 2006 Charger. Anyway I orginally wanted bumblebee till I saw a red jewel in Laurel, Ms when I was working on a job down there. I live in Oklahoma. I built it on the computer and sent off for price from hometown dealer. Said would sell at sticker if ordered. So when I get back home I go to the dealer and he asks if I'm still interested in getting a camaro. I said yes. He said the 2ss with rs package, red jewel, automatic. I said yes sir thats the one. He said you're not gonna believe this but a guy ordered that exact car and backed out. Should be here in a couple weeks. I told him call me when came in. Well to shorten the story it got sold out from under me, because he thougt my wife was gonna keep me from getting one. So I got on the computer found one in Atlanta(Dawsonville),Bought it and bought plane ticket. Called my wife and told her was on way to Dallas, she said why ya going to Dallas. I said catch a plane to Atlanta. Atlanta she said, why ya going to Atlanta you going to a job. Nope I said I'm going to pick up my new caramo. No you're not she said. Oh yes I am. She hung up. Don't worry guys she got over it and is happy I got the car now that she saw how happy it made me. Been married 28 years.

Have added Rally stripes, gloss black from Granatelli racing, GMPP exhaust and was gonna get the GMPP shorty headers but they scapped production of them. Wish I had gotten aftermarket now, because I really don't know which headers to get now.Any ideas?

Went into the post office this morning wearing my Yellow with black stripes Camaro hat, and the guy behind the counter said, "Have you ever seen one of the new Camaros?"... I said, "Well I am driving one right now and it's sitting outside".. He put both hands to his face like the kid in Home Alone and said "Did you get the V8?" I said "No I got the V6, 304 HP is plenty for me"... The guy behind me in line said, "304 HP from a V6?" I said "yep".. he said, "WOW"...
I love our Camaro.. It just gets better every day!

Hi all, this is my first post and I'm kind of jumping the gun because my car was built on the 27th of Jan. but not yet delivered. So excited though I had to post!!! My husband ordered the car as a Christmas gift for me, 2SS/RS with the Transformers package on Dec 18/09, so the wait for the build was only 5 weeks. I only live a couple hours away from the Mississauga plant but my car won't be delivered until Monday at the earliest. I guess they are waiting for a carrier to come my way. Can't wait to drive my Bee!!!

Mississauga plant?? I meant the Oshawa plant, apparently I'm kind of distracted. If anyone is interested here is a recent picture of the plant lot. Lots of beauties to see.

Bumblebee - Thanks for the great photo! Our Rally Yellow was built on 1/15. I wander if it was in that photo? The weather was very cold here today but the roads were dry, so I put about 50 miles on it. What a ride! You are going to love yours.

Scott did your rally yellow come with the stipes on or did the dealer have to put them on?

Ours was delivered to the dealer with stripes. I had the dealer add chrome & black gill accents and a black out between the tail lights. The first photo is of our car as-delivered to the dealer (it was snowing so we couldn't bring it home anyway). The next two show the add-ons that we had done.







A funny thing happened last night. We went out to dinner at restaurant located in a strip shopping center. It was about 12 degrees here, so I picked my wife up at the door. As we were driving out of the plaza I stopped at a crosswalk to let a mother and her son cross, he was about 10 years old, the same age as our grandson. He pointed at our Camaro and you could read his lips yelling "BUMBLEBEE, BUMBLEBEE" to his mother. We were howling!
