THREE (3) GRAND PRIZES/ARV: 2009 Chevrolet Camaro – Transformers Bumblebee Replica Edition-(ARV/MSRP: $40,000). Specialty enhancements/design upgrades may not be covered by the GM New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Grand Prize vehicles will not be available for delivery until 2009. Winners must take delivery of vehicle within thirty (30) days of notice of availability from GM-selected dealer near each winner’s residence, and each will be solely responsible for sales tax, registration, license, title and insurance fees and cost of any additional optional equipment not provided with Grand Prize vehicle. Grand Prize vehicles’ APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV) is based on forecasted 2009 Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of a base model Chevrolet Camaro. Winners must a have valid driver’s license from jurisdiction of residence and proof of insurance to take delivery.

ok well 40k msrp and it says modified so i would say its safe to assume its a v8 and the exterior should look just like bumblee?

I am new to the forum so i will try to explain how it happened. I was reading one of those educational mags one morning,I think it was Maxim, thank god for maxim and I saw and ad about entering the contest, had the day off and said what the hell. Got online and signed up. Forgotten about it from that day on, contest who wins.
Checking my email one morning middle of February all of a sudden the phone rings # I don't know, don't answer a lady says I am Amy, last name not mentioned from company not mentioned calling in regards to the Bumblebee sweepstakes call me when you get a chance, I will send you and email. Think nothing of it, all of a sudden up comes an email as I am looking at my email. I open it up congratulations letter, affidavit to sign and have notorized. Now at this point I am having a hard time realizing what just happened. Returned the call I received, oh my god it is all true. That is my story in a nutshell and I am just trying to get all of the info on this car because I am going to bring it to sponsored events and this will help me to know the particulars. for advertising purposes.
thanks for anyones help
Scott

I'm sure we'll see proof soon enough..

In the mean time... This...

...is depressing. That clearly says it's based on the forecasted MSRP of a BASE Camaro. It says nothing of the mods so that's the forecasted MSRP of the camaro. Let's hope they've overshot.

I don't know if you'll have to pay taxes on it or not. I'm sure they have told you about that?
It says in the link they sent us that the winner would be responsible for taxes, title license fees and all that. Not a bad deal if it's a 30-40k car.
