You are welcome. You might be the only person I know happy to get a poster of a Cruze....................that doesn't have sticky accelerator pedals.

BTW, Fen. I have a theory that Toyota had to have started the redesign and retooling of this new accel. pedal at abou the same time as the zip tie fix. Couldn't prove it, but if that is the case, they would wayyyyy worse than they do now...........and that is pretty bad.

I have to wonder if its even the pedals and not a drive-by-wire problem...

The only thing about the drive by wire is the default is no throttle on failure.

Plus apparetnly they are saying you can look at the module and determine if it is Denso or CTS. Denso is apparently ok. So if it isn't the module..................they are gonna be in BIG trouble. Bigger? Super Mega Huge Trouble!!

BTW................is anybody out there warm? Ok anybody not in SW Asia defending out freedom?

Oh and one more thing.............I had the Sky at work today (cold and salt - booooo). I let one of my co-workers drive it (very big car car, sweet 69 Z28 - hey finally a Z28 reference in this thread) and anyway to my point...............Sky spins tires grabbing second.

Not as happy as Shno coming to the states in 6 plus days...............but still nice.

but what if it wasnt triggered as a failure but instead was a faulty positioning sensor? the whole "floor mat" b/s story they gave for the prius worked out well to satiate the minds of most of the consumers out there... you know, the ones who refer to the car as the Toyota Pious....
