Easy guy, First we are going to have snack time then we will have nap time then coloring, after coloring we can talk about Play time

My work load is just too heavy to start today, I will have to try and fit it in next weeks schedule, and I would rather do it when all the headers are here so I can test them as close together as possible.

Stay Tuned.

If you had to "Guess" Which do you believe will have the best results?

If you read the first page you will see that no shorties will be tested because they are waiting on two things; A) one company to make all the available sizes and B) for them to agree to let them test and post the results.

I've read the first page and every other page as well and shorties were mentioned more than once. No were does it say shorties will not be tested. It says they are waiting on companies to jump on board. I'm trying to see if any companies have jumped on board and offered some up.

Yeah Borla has but were waiting for other companies like JBA and Doug Thorley to offer some.

It's nice to see another test but in my opinion without tuning each combo to it's full potential will leave the test unfair. Different header sizes will require different timing and A/F tables. So what you'll see ids what header works best on a stock tune and thats it.

2 years ago we tested 3 brands of headers on a stock 02 Vette. Both with the stock tune and tuned in.Without the tuning a 1 3/4 headers was the best, with tuning a set of 17/8 beat all the smaller headers(by 10hp/tq,even at 2500 rpm where everybody says the small headers will win.

I know it takes more time but why not since they are on the car?

I agree but disagree.

I don't think an 02 Vette is a good comparison since we are talking 5.7 VS 6.2 and these 2010 computers are probably 100 times faster, and they are tuned to within 5-10 hp of the best numbers you can sqeeze out of them where the 02 cars, it was common to find 20-30 hp just in tuning alone.

I am taking everyting in to consideration, and I am doing this on My dime, so it will come down to available time.

No matter how many combinations we test there will alway be naysayers and I am OK with that.

The majority of guys will never go inside they're engine and this test is basically for them.

What works well on a stock 6.2 should work well for most engine mods except for the wild ones.

A guy who goes in his engine and ports cylinder heads, changes compression, changes the cam or strokes the engine will have to run his own tests.

Ted.
