Not to be the bearer of bad news, but the highways just south of Macon and headed towards Valdosta are still under construction the last time I went through there. It's narrowed to 2 lanes in areas with lots of concrete barriers and speed zones. The last two times I went to SGMP (it's been a while) there happened to be rainy weather and accidents causing that whole hghway to be a mess. I just wanted to let you know so you woldn't be upset if you got caught up in that area. Maybe the construction isn't quite so messy now.

Normally its not too bad I have traveled that route about a dozen times this past year plus ever memorial day weekend (Thursday & Monday) for the Fbody Gathering and it's not too bad a little stop and go traffic but nothing too bad.

I think a lot of that is open now... But imagine the folks that accidentally go thru the middle of ATL on friday morning.

That's the best way I've found to skin that cat.

... But I can still see someone saying... "Oh sheet, I think we were supposed to go right back there!"

Will do

Probably make a bunch of maps once everyone's plans are final, and make a new thread where we can put stopping points and maps on first page, what ya think?
