LOL, some of you all need a car cam!! Then you can prove you were not swerving ect. If he says a light is out, most cell phones have video now and as the cop is there tape the light working.

Got a written warning a month after I had mine. Was on the way back from the body shop after having the stripes painted and had a state trooper do a u-turn thru a grass median and hit the lights. I was doing the speed limit but he pulled me over for no front plate. I told him i was just on the way home from the body shop for the stripes and they had the front bumper off so that was the reason I didn't have the plate installed yet. Gave me a written warning and sent me on my way.

Got pulled over after 4 months with my car. Ready for this, i was speeding at 41 mph in a 25. Was clocked in a speed trap going to work at 7 30 in the morning. Cop said no points, i find out later i have 4 points and the fine was 150. I hope that guy burns in hell. I wouldn't mind so much getting a speeding ticket going fast!!!

Wife 82 in a 55 passing a truck! Likely story :o) 50 bucks and traffic school to avoid the point. When I lived in CA this would have been 300 bucks and jail time probably, so glad to have escaped that state... Lovin Tn

You broke the law. Pay up. If you want to race the car go to the track.

Man I got totally screwed in Dallas I had my Cruise set to 71 when he ran up behind me and turned the sirens on. He told me he had me clocked at 77mph and i told him that was impossible because my cruise was set, He said well i had you on LIDAR and I said thats bullshit because my radar detector detects LIDAR and I asked if I could see the Laser readout, He refused to let me see it and said he is not requied to let me see the Laser, Total Bullshit, I told him to prove that i was going that fast he said he doesnt have to prove it just sign the ticket. I was so freakin pissed. He knows I live in Houston and I probably wouldnt fight it but 6 hrs to dallas is less hassle than defensive driving, so I think I'm gonna call their bluff, any suggestions

For most of us Camaro owners that haven't put on our front plates, remember, if you are out with your friends after work having a few beers. The front plate is the cops probable cause to pull you over, no matter how good you are driving. Just a heads up for everyone.

In Montana, they like to pull you over for no license plate lights as their probable cause. There's alot of gravel roads and the gravel knocks the wire off the light on most pickups. They will never pull you over for that, unless it's 2 A.M. and they figure you've been drinking. Also if your rear bumper is over 20" off the ground, mudflaps are required by law. Nearly every pickup is over 20" from the factory. That's another one they use at 2 A.M.
These are just a few of the obscure laws that nearly everyone is breaking that they only use for "probable cause" to pull you over when you are otherwise driving perfectly.

Good luck.

Totally true: never plead guilty. Too bad I learned this lesson later in life. Plus if you delay the hearing as long as possible, if the cop shows up he'll have to admit "no recollection". If he doesn't show -- you win!

Spy, link now works. But it isn't for your CARCAM. May I ask which you recommend? Thanks.
